NS2585 Warping Roller Fairlead
NS2585 warping roller is the same as the GB/T 10105-88 fairlead. It is cast by the finest quality marine mild carbon steel for added durability. All surfaces in contact with the ropes shall be free from surface roughness or irregularities likely to cause damage to the ropes by abrasion. It has a high breaking load of a tightwire. ISO13767 Shipside Roller Fairlead
The shipside roller is made in accordance with the standard of ISO 13767. The safe working load (SWL) intended for the use of the roller fairlead shall be noted in the towing and mooring plan available onboard for the guidance of the shipmaster as specified in MSC/Circ.1175. There are two types of fairleads as the construction, which include 2-roller type and 3-roller type.
ISO13755 Warping Roller Fairlead
The foundation of the warping roller shall be determined by the manufacturer in accordance with the standard of ISO13755. The roller is made from steel casting having a yield point of not less than 205N/mm2 or steel plates having a yield point of not less than 235 N/mm2 and the Axl is made from weldable steel casting having a yield point of not less than 350N/mm2 or equivalent. The warping roller has three types including type A which is made of steel casting without upper dust cover, type B which is made of steel casting with upper dust cover and type C which is made of steel plate with dust cover depending on the construction.

Vertical Guide Sheave
The vertical sheave is a type of mooring fittings to guide the mooring rope vertically on the deck. The fairlead is built to withstand breaking strength of indicated rope at 90-degree sheave wrap on sheaves. It is made of cast steel with hardened rope groove for longer life. There can be one sheave or two sheaves together. It is a removable guide roller with an epoxy primer coating. It is a special sheave for high-performance synthetic ropes.

JIS F 2026 Roller Fairlead
The roller fairlead is manufactured strictly according to the Japanese Standard JIS F 2026-1980. It is also known as universal fairlead with horizontal rollers and vertical rollers. It is made of stainless steel. Its surface is polished and galvanized which has high corrosion-resistance. It is usually located on the deck end or in the bulwark. JIS F 2014 Warping Roller
The warping roller is manufactured according to the JIS F 2014 -1987 standard. It is also known as CB58-83 fairlead. It is used as a shipside roller fairlead and is to change the direction of the ropes. All surfaces of the fairlead, including welding, shall be free from any visible flaws or imperfections. The roller diameter is from100mm to 450mm, suitable for rope diameter from 40mm to 80mm. The Clutch Mechanism
The clutch mechanism is a mechanism that combines and disengages the movement of the spring starter and the engine. The main part is the flywheel drive gear, which generates axial movement by means of a spiral groove on the starter main shaft. When the diesel engine needs to be started, the main shaft rotating pushes it to move in the direction of the flywheel to achieve meshing with the flywheel ring gear. Conversely, when the starter is working and the diesel engine begins to rotate actively, the flywheel of the diesel engine drives the rotation of the flywheel for driving gear while moving it backward along the axis, disengaging engagement of the gears.

ISO13728 Panama Chock
The Panama chocks are made according to the ISO 13728 standard and are normally adopted for ships passing through the Panama Canal, which are normally assisted by locomotives using steel towing wire. They meet normal mooring requirements and Panama Canal requirements. The nominal size the Panama chock is denoted by reference to the width of the opening, in millimetres, which are 310mm and 360mm. It can be classified as deck-mounted Panama chock and bulwark mounted one according to their installation site.
ISO13713 Mooring Chock
The mooring chock is made according to the ISO 13713 standard and is a type of ship’s mooring and towing fitting installed on the shipside to lead the mooring and towing rope from the ship’s inboard to outboard. The mooring chocks are normally adopted for ships which use nylon or other synthetic ropes rather than wire ropes considering the small bending ratio. It has two types depend on its installation including deck mounted one and bulwark mounted one.

Bulwark (EU Type) Towing Chock
Bulwark towing chock also known as EU type towing chock, is installed on the bulwark. It is made of cast steel. The surface of the towing chock is fine polished by 2-layer of shop primer anti-rust painting after sandblasting 2.5and well painted without any bur and the edge is to protect the towing ropes from broken during work. It is similar to NS 2589 chock, not often used in Asian ships.
DIN81915 Panama Chock
The Panama chock is made according to German Standard DIN 81915. The Panama chock, mounted on deck or bulwark, is closed chock which is used to control the position of mooring ropes. The material of the chock is GS-38 (material 1.0420) according to DIN1681 (cast steel). All the edges of the Panama chock must be ground smooth, especially where the rope is in contact with the chock. And it is required to be a blast and primed for the surface treatment. It is used for vessel, tug, cargo ship, military ship, industrial ships etc.

NS2587 Bulwark Mounted Mooring Chock
NS2587 bulwark mounted mooring chock sometimes also called NS2587 mooring pipe, follows the strict quality control system. Its surface is smooth without burs or sharp edges. It helps reduce the friction of the mooring rope. But this type of chock cannot satisfy the requirements of the Panama Canal Commission (PCC). For this chock, it has two optional nominal dimensions. Type A is a welded mooring chock. It is more often used in European countries than in Asia.
